Sonoma is Latin America's #1 site for wine culture and wine curation. Sonoma is based in Brazil, a young but booming market for wine. Despite a 15% compound annual growth rate from 2010 - 2012 and a sizable market of $7B, wine culture is still relatively new in Brazil, as it is in much of the rest of developing LatAm. Many potential consumers are intimidated by high prices (due to import taxes) and confusing wine language. Sonoma is the solution. We produce daily original content that tackles confusing topics and allows us to take advantage of the 1MM and growing monthly wine related searches in Brazil alone. Our articles are linked to curated product selections, chosen by a team of LatAm's best sommeliers. By working with local vineyards and importing directly from California, Italy and France, we are able to both offer unique products to our consumers while offering to vineyards abroad access to new and promising markets.
